Adventure to Toronto

So, Mr. Mihr has never been anywhere. He has been outside, but other than that he has lived a fairly sheltered life thus far.

Mini monster (Silas- "Hey!") and I are headed to Toronto on Saturday, for the weekend, and we will be going to a doll meet [see previous post for information]! As antisocial as he is, and though he won't freely admit it, I can sense that he is excited to meet other dolls, maybe pick up a friend or two :3 Also, I'm kind of hoping someone will be selling some KDF clothes...I'm such a bad mother sometimes. Also I am hoping to post some entries from Silas (as Silas) instead of me always posting these journals about how he feels (hahaha! I am SUCH a psycho...don't tell anyone).

Wanting to Order + June Photoshoot...

Hey! It has been a while! So I'm back on the clothing thing, and I decided Silas needed a summer outfit. So here's what I think I'll be ordering from Dollmore.

Post Presentation

So, it was a crappy day out today, so no outdoor photoshoot. Maybe next month (slash after exams) But I did get a picture of him with all my other things that I brought.

The presentation did go over well, and a few people told me they wanted to take my boy home. I also got a few comments saying he was creepy...>.>

Dates Changed!

Mel: Ah Silas will be in town next Tuesday (as opposed to this Friday), due to some set back, our presentation has been delayed. Anyhoo, Silas was complaining that he never got his own chance to talk to you, and he's been having a little dilemma lately, but I'll let him explain it to you.

Silas: *grumble* It's about time...Anyways.

It's not my birthday or anything, but Mel offered to buy me some new clothes this summer (hopefully) but I don't know which one to chose - there are three very different options...I'm a Scorpio if you were wondering...

Option #1: Oz Factory Set - Go for the old-fashioned look - [Comes with: hat, jacket, sleevless shirt, shorts, belt and tie] (I would buy the socks too - seperately for $2.00):

Option #2: Sailor Fashion for Boy - A sailor uniform - also verging on the "old-fashionedness". [Comes with: hat, shirt, shorts, brooch and jacket]Option #3: Mouse T Hoodie AND Moss Jeans - a hoodie with mouse ears and faded jeans...need I say more?

SIlas & The French ISP

Soo I spent a good part of my Sunday night prepping my powerpoint presentation for Friday...Silas will be featured haha, but I wanted to show off these slides I made for the powerpoint.
Impressive if I do say so myself. I've got a slide dedicated to BJDs where I've picked and stolen some pictures off of www.deviantart.com from some of my favorite doll owners.

Mr. Mihr Makes and Appearance!

So this is a follow up post from the last one, Mr. Mihr is leaving the house and venturing out into the real world for the first time on Friday May 26th 2009. He's making a presentation with me about the importance of Asian culture in North America in front of my grade 12 AP french class.
There will be a photoshoot after the event, hopefully outdoors.

+ It's almost summer time! And hopefully I will be getting a carrying bag and some new clothes for Silas before FanExpo Canada (CNAnime and SFX 2009) so we could go to the convention together. I will be posting questions and journals about this event on DeviantArt to see if any dolly owners are attending and if they'd like to meet up. So stay tuned, for more updates concerning these matters!

Silas Ventures Out!

So, Silas is going to be taking his first steps (or float) out of the house this month! He'll be taking a trip to my highschool for an ISP presentation about how "Asian Culture has impacted North America." So stay tuned for details!
